Western Wines in Canadian drive

Western Wines is aiming to create public interest in Canadian wines, and is in talks with the Canadian High Commission to support a media campaign.

It will start by building the profile of Canadian ice wines, promoting its flagship Inniskillen brand for the first time and launching Jackson-Triggs in the UK, said PR manager Katherine Higgs.

Inniskillen retails for up to £50 per half-bottle and will be pitched to upmarket lifestyle media.

Western Wines, which also plans to introduce the red wine Osoyoos-Larose to the UK, has hired Aurelia PR.
