PR firms including Weber Shandwick are to promote easyCruise's no-frills Mediterranean sailings as Haji-Ioannou targets 20 to 40-year-olds previously priced out of cruising.
EasyGroup corporate affairs director James Rothnie confirmed WS was 'on the verge of' being hired to promote easyCruise from Amsterdam, Berlin and Geneva.
WS will handle launch press conferences and 'ongoing support' in core European markets.
Athens-based The PR Team, New York's M Booth & Associates and freelances in the south of France are also promoting easyCruise, while Rothnie is yet to hire an agency for PR in Italy.
UK PR is being handled in-house by Rothnie - and Haji-Ioannou himself.
The easyCruise vessel will visit seven French and Italian ports on a weekly cycle.
EasyCruise's operations are being filmed by Sky for a series similar to ITV's Airline.
Fleishman-Hillard's Singapore office promoted the unveiling of the vessel in the Far East last month.
