Healthcare: Stamatokou exits PN for MS&L post

NEW YORK: Porter Novelli SV-P of healthcare Stephanie Stamatokou has quit after less than a year to join Manning Selvage & Lee New York.

In defecting from PN, where she formerly led work for Sanofi-Aventis oncology brands, Stamatokou follows the move of Sanofi-Aventis business to MS&L.

MS&L, which already worked for some of the former Sanofi-Synthelabo's products, picked up additional Aventis products following the merger of the two firms last year.

The newly merged firm consolidated work for all but three Aventis brands under Publicis Groupe, with MS&L leading on PR.

- MS&L's London healthcare arm has set up what it calls 'dedicated advocacy and medical affairs centres of excellence' led by newly promoted directors Annabel Fiddian-Green and Guy Nasse.
