Voluntary Sector: Holborn to assist Israeli firm float

Israeli voice recognition software company Poly Information has drafted in Holborn to front the company's listing on the AIM.

The firm hopes to raise just under £500,000 through the listing of 21.2 per cent of its share capital. Poly Information's market capitalisation is expected to reach £4m on admission.

Poly Information's products are designed to recognise speech and respond appropriately within a specific context. The company believes this software will provide a partial solution to the problems experienced by call centres using automated scripted response systems.

The company hopes to sell its products to the call centre industry and is piloting a system for the Naharia Hospital in Israel.
