Voluntary Sector: B-M winds down Sacramento arm

SACRAMENTO, CA: Burson-Marsteller is scaling back its presence in Sacramento, having partnered with PA outfit California Strategies.

There was a failure to achieve the 'traction' B-M needed to maintain a fully fledged presence, said head of new global business development Richard Mintz.

Jason Kinney, director of B-M's Sacramento office, recently quit to join California Strategies as a partner.

B-M will maintain a PA presence in the state through its San Francisco and Los Angeles offices, Mintz said.
