Voluntary Sector: Blackfriars calls in Media Strategy

Property developer Blackfriars Investments is using Media Strategy for advice on relations with Southwark Council around its bid to secure the £1.5bn contract to rebuild the Elephant and Castle retail complex.

The agency's priority, once the pre-qualification questionnaire has been submitted to the council by 18 April, is likely to be 'sounding out councillors on what more is behind the project documents,' said Blackfriars head of structured finance Alethea Siow.

'It will also involve introducing the Blackfriars consortium to politicians and pointing out that our bid will help the regeneration more than any other,' she added.

Blackfriars leads a consortium including Royal London Asset Management.
