Horror Channel hires NP for Continental expansion

The Horror Channel, the UK's first TV channel dedicated to the genre, has called in PR agency NP as it moots plans to expand into Europe.

The channel wants to boost its profile to attract interest and business from channel providers on the Continent.

It is also looking to expand its audience reach in the UK and extend its airtime to broadcast 24 hours a day.

NP won the B2B and consumer PR account, which is believed to be worth £100,000, in a three-way pitch.

The agency has a remit to increase the channel's profile in the trade press and promote sexy presenter Jade Fox as the face of the channel to men's consumer magazines.
