Incepta/Huntsworth unveil post-merger board

The board of the planned Incepta/Huntsworth group began to take shape this week.

As predicted in PRWeek (4 March), Incepta chairman Francis Maude is to step down in favour of Huntsworth CEO Lord Chadlington, who will chair the new group, while Incepta CEO Richard Nichols will be chief executive.

Maude will be joint deputy chairman with Huntsworth chairman Jon Foulds.

Huntsworth finance director Roger Selman will be finance director.

Incepta has nominated Robert Alcock and Charles Good as non-executive directors, while Huntsworth has nominated Anthony Brooke and Eugene Beard for the board.

Three Incepta directors, including executive director Tony Carlisle, are to step down from the board. Carlisle will be senior adviser to Chadlington on the development of the worldwide financial and communications practice.

Shareholders will be addressed by the end of the month prior to an EGM for Huntsworth shareholders. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of May.
