Metrogas currently belongs to British Gas and Spanish group Repsol. Emgasud is part of the Condor Asset Management fund, overseen by Alejandro Ivaniessevich.
Serrano was formerly PR manager for electrical firm Edenor.

Carlos Serrano has been named as head of communications for Emgasud, the company negotiating for the buy-out of Metrogas, which distributes gas to a large proportion of Buenos Aires.
