Noiseworks hire for net security

CyberSource, an online payments security provider, is boosting its PR efforts as online retailers’ fears grow that web fraud will rise with the advent of chip and pin cards.

A media relations campaign will use a survey of online retailers that found almost three-quarters expected a migration of fraud with increased security on high streets. CyberSource will also recruit clients to act as ‘evangelists’.

‘It is in merchants’ interests to be seen to be protecting customers,’ said James Hanson, MD at Noiseworks, which will run the campaign.
