Suffolk social inclusion communications manager John Ross said: ‘This is to remind those who live and work in the county that it is a place to be proud of.’
The campaign is being run through the Suffolk Strategic Partnership, which
involves 45 local bodies, including Suffolk Constabulary, voluntary groups and the County Council, which is taking the lead on PR.
‘Suffolk and Proud’ will run initially for a year and is being supported by regional TV advertising. Media relation work includes a tie-up with the East Anglian Daily Times. It is also being supported by Ipswich Town Football Club and local swimmer Karen Pickering.
