Diary: Exhibition has a message for Harry

A hard-hitting exhibition to raise awareness of the Holocaust is seeking to capitalise on Prince Harry's dressing up as a Nazi.

Exhibition organiser and Green Communications founder Andy Green has chosen to juxtapose the picture of Harry at a fancy-dress party with sombre shots of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Nazis' notorious death camp.

The exhibition, called 'Are you watching Harry?' was due to take place this week at the 'Art of Propaganda' gallery at the Wakefield Media Centre. It puts pictures of Auschwitz taken by amateur photographer and freelance PRO Bill Hunt opposite Harry and other satirical views of the Nazi regime.

Green says he saw 'a timely opportunity to reflect on images of the Nazi regime and how we individually respond to them'.

Both he and Hunt are 'shocked' that 'awareness of the Holocaust is now so low... particularly among young people.' Indeed, Harry.
