Amex in drive for corporate cards

American Express is to partner with industry associations to address the misconception that the firm only caters for larger companies.

The travel trade, procurement and regional press campaign by Octopus Public Relations will use surveys about staff attitudes to expense forms to target sectors such as manufacturing in the Midlands.

Amex director of PA and communications for Europe Atalia Da Silva said the campaign would broaden the company’s reputation for offering corporate credit cards to mid-market companies.
