Ogilvy health arm nets AZ and Roche

Ogilvy Healthworld (OH), the entity formed by the merger of WPP’s Ogilvy Healthcare and Healthworld Communications brands, has secured contracts from AstraZeneca (AZ) and Roche.

The creation of OH, which WPP began to plan last year (PRWeek, 3 September 2004), was completed this week.

AZ has hired OH to develop a ‘global brand identity’ for Galida, a diabetes product it expects to launch in 2007.

Eight businesses, including Shire Health London, Shire Health International and med ed firm 4D Communications, are now part of OH.
