Rattray will join S-P, the US firm behind brands such as Remicade, Temodal and Ezetrol, in late February in a role that will span both product and corporate communications.
She will report to UK and Ireland director of communications and public affairs Alan Kane.
The appointment is the most significant so far in Kane’s ongoing plan, which kicked off last year (PRWeek, 6 August 2004), to create a larger, dedicated communications operation at S-P’s offices in Welwyn Garden City.
Rattray has spent two years at the BSR. She has formerly worked at the charity Scope and was an HR manager at Marks & Spencer.
