NZ wine Nobilo in consumer drive

New Zealand wine brand Nobilo is set to cash in on Lord of the Rings-inspired interest in the country’s natural settings, with its first UK consumer media drive.

The PR campaign by Westbury Communications is said to ‘tap into the current fashion for New Zealand lifestyle’, aligning Nobilo with the country’s green, healthy living environment and strong film culture, said Claire Wakelin, comms manager at Nobilo owner Constellation Brands.

It will target up-market consumer food titles such as Olive and Delicious and women’s lifestyle media to reach people in their thirties who consider higher-priced wine, said Wakelin.
