Yelland’s agent Eddie Bell, the former chairman and publisher of Rupert Murdoch-owned book publisher HarperCollins, tells us the book will look at ‘the truth’ and ‘how the media report, interpret and spin’.
We are told it is still in its ‘outline’ stages. But Bell believes he and Yelland, who was unavailable for comment, could go to a publisher in ‘the next couple of months’.
Bashing out 1,500 words every other day while handling the demands of a senior PRO will be no problem for former Murdoch employees like them, Bell insists. ‘We are all multi-tasked at News Corp and David has been thinking about this for some time,’ he says.
One wonders how Yelland’s philosophical ponderings on ‘truth’ will impact his dealings with clients.
