National Trust in coastline effort

The National Trust will use photographs of the devastation caused by last year’s flooding at Boscastle to draw attention to the effects of climate change on Britain’s coastline.

The charity is gearing up to launch The Coast Exposed exhibition to highlight the environmental challenges and the links between famous National Trust properties and the sea.

The touring exhibition of photographs, celebrating the beauty and diversity of the UK coast as well as the destruction in Boscastle, will be publicised to encourage conservation.

Politicians will also be lobbied.
