London Air Show to target gamers

The London Air Show is to target computer and gaming magazines to promote what it claims is the UK’s biggest collection of flight simulators at the 2005 event.

Organiser Clarion Events is hoping its Sim City collection of more than 30 simulation pods, which allow visitors to experience flying combat fighters, helicopters and Boeing 747 and 737s, will help boost attendance above 50,000 for the 8-10 April show’s second year.

The consumer and trade media relations campaign by Mason Williams will also run media competitions offering flying lessons, and target mainstream broadcast media and press with news of specific exhibits.
