The deal transfers all four Westbury clients to FD. ABN Amro Mellon, UBS Asia, the China National Offshore Oil Corporation and solicitors Hill Dickinson have now become clients of FD’s existing management coaching team.
Westbury specialised in coaching board-level executives at professional service firms, private equity companies and other financing houses. In particular, the firm advises management teams on investor roadshow presentations and competitive pitches.
FD chief executive Charles Watson said he had made the deal owing to client demand for more help with speeches and presentations in front of live audiences.
Niall Hall, a former equerry to the late Queen Mother, founded Westbury in 1998 and has joined FD. The company’s three other staff were freelances hired for particular projects.
