NCB’s Keilthy to exit for start-up

DUBLIN: John Keilthy, chief operations manager at Ireland’s biggest independent securities firm NCB Stockbrokers, is set to leave next month, after 15 years, to set up his own reputation management consultancy.

Keilthy, a former Ireland-based financial journalist who has handled comms in various roles at NCB, will continue to handle comms for the Irish stockbroker and corporate finance house when he starts his as-yet-

unnamed firm in February.

It will be a Dublin-based investor relations and corporate reputation management consultancy targeting Ireland’s top-quoted outfits.

NCB is currently Keilthy’s sole client, but he will be able to exploit NCB’s relationship with Irish companies such as shipping and leisure firm Irish Continental.
