Dorset in road-safety PR review

Dorset Safety Camera Partnership, set up to cut road deaths by persuading motorists to slow down, has put its £80,000 PR account up for review out of local incumbent agency McKenna Townsend.

The partnership – composed of Dorset Police, the Dorset Strategic Health Authority, and the county’s councils – exists to promote speed cameras as safety devices and challenge notions that they are purely a money-spinner for the police, according to McKenna Townsend MD Matt McKenna.

McKenna Townsend has promoted the organisation for the past 18 months, managing public education campaigns, internal comms and media relations.
