German news round up

The Bundesministerium für Familie, Senioren, Frauen and Jugend (ministry for families, senior citizens, women and young people) and the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (office for political education) have jointly hired Odeon Zwo and wbpr to handle communications for the P project, which aims to encourage young people to become more involved in politics.

The Federal Insurance Organisation for office workers (BfA) and the major compensation funds have commissioned Publicis Public Relations in Berlin to support the national campaign for the Sozialwahl 2005 elections. Advertising was handed to Publicis Berlin in September. The media account will be handled by ZenithMoremedia in Dusseldorf and DieMediafabrik in Berlin.

The international tourism exchange in Berlin has appointed w&p Wilde & Partner to promote the Berlin trade fair, which it wants to position as the world's leading trade fair for the tourism industry.
