Pitkeathley exits Design Council

The Design Council head of government affairs Rachel Pitkeathley has left the DTI-funded organisation after just one month in the job.

Design Council chief executive Harry Rich confirmed she had left but refused to discuss details.

She took up the role in early October, joining from the Youth Justice Board where she was head of communications (PRWeek, 1 October).

Her responsibilities have been assumed internally by Matt Kennedy-Martin.

‘We are reviewing the position,’ Rich added.

Pitkeathley was unavailable for comment.
