SonyBMG in Elvis birthday drive

Music giant SonyBMG has launched a campaign to mark its celebration of Elvis Presley’s 70th birthday.

It has enlisted Noble PR to promote the re-release of Elvis’s 18 number-one singles over 18 consecutive weeks from January to April 2005.

The media relations push runs until after the final single is re-released on 25 April.

SonyBMG hopes the campaign will lead to Elvis becoming the first-ever artist to have 18 consecutive top-15 chart singles in the UK.
