Bradford Centre Regeneration (BCR) has appointed Leeds-based Brahm PR to devise a comms strategy to promote the city’s regeneration programme.
Brahm will launch its campaign in the New Year, targeting UK and overseas businesses, including those already in the city such as property developers, retailers, venture capitalists and other investors.
It will also aim to engage residents, students and potential visitors.
‘The [city] centre has been in decline for the past few decades,’ said a BCR spokesman. ‘The city does not attract enough people in terms of quantity and quality of consumers. It has around a 30 per cent leakage of shoppers to Leeds and Harrogate.’
The regeneration programme includes building a lake around the city hall.
