Wella in Red Nose Day ‘hair stunt’

Wella is targeting consumer, beauty and trade hairdressing titles to promote its involvement for the second time with Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.

Agency EHPR is hoping to create a world record for the most people to spray their hair red, using Wella’s specially commissioned hair-spray.

The agency is conducting one-to-one visits with hair and beauty journalists in an attempt to ensure inclusion in March issues, and is communicating with trade titles to inform hairdressers.

EHPR is also hoping to link up with a teenage magazine to insert a cardboard hair stencil for young people to use to take part.
