GCI strengthens European offer with Swift

PR agency GCI has bolstered its European healthcare team with Sarah Swift’s transfer from its New York office to fill the newly created role of EMEA associate director.

She started work in London last week and reports to Mark Forbes Irving, who joined the agency just last month as president of GCI Healthcare Europe (PRWeek, 15 October).

Swift was formerly healthcare group V-P in New York – her pan-Atlantic switch leaves GCI North American healthcare chief AnnaMaria DeSalva on the hunt for a replacement.

GCI’s European healthcare top trio now comprises Forbes Irving, Swift and V-P Europe Dan Beach.

Swift’s relocation brings her a reunion with Forbes Irving, who first recruited her when he worked for Countrywide Porter Novelli in London in the mid-1990s.
