Kaigler, who was formerly V-P of global comms and talent relations, now reports to chairman and CEO Paul Fireman and becomes a member of the sportswear giant’s executive leadership team.
Fireman told PRWeek US that Reebok wanted someone at the top table focused on comms, adding that Kaigler will now focus on strategy rather than day-to-day marketing or branding.
Kaigler will lead the firm’s global corporate public and media relations, corporate reputation management, corporate business and financial comms, employee comms, and crisis and issues management.
She joined Reebok in 1991 as media relations specialist.
