The Royal National Institute of the Blind has launched a campaign to warn drivers of the dangers of driving without regular eye tests.

The charity, which has teamed up with opticians Dolland & Aitchison, claims that around 13 million drivers could be putting themselves and passengers at risk because of poor eyesight. Posters and leaflets will be distributed and consumer magazines and national newspapers will be targeted with information about the campaign.
