Tower Hamlets in online appraisal

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets has hired Renaissance Partners in Communication to review customer comms and the implications of the Government’s requirement for local authorities to offer essential services online by 2005.

Renaissance director Lorraine Langham said: ‘This is about public bodies taking their PR seriously and putting their customers at the centre. The Government is saying that public services need to reflect the choice of the channels people access.

‘We will be looking at the impact of new technology on this relationship,’ she added.

Renaissance will also investigate customer care standards during its six-month contract.
