Argyle and Kaizo CEO Crispin Manners said Argyle would make an initial payment equal to ten per cent of Barclay Stratton’s annual fees, which Argyle has projected to be around £1m for next year.
Senior members of Barclay Stratton, including founder Christopher Broadbent – who stepped back from running the firm 18 months ago – CEO James Laird and director Karen Sharpes, will be able to take up equity in Argyle.
Manners said Argyle would keep the Barclay Stratton brand. The latter’s clients include Nestlé and Dollond & Aitchison.
