Operating profits rise at Incepta

Marcoms group Incepta has reported a 13 per cent hike in operating profits for the six months to 31 August.

The firm, which made £8.1m for the first half of this year and £7.4m in the same period last year, said gross income at its Financial & Corporate Communications division was £35.4m, fractionally up on the first half of last year, and that operating margins for the division had increased to ten per cent.

Incepta said the division’s increased income was partly due to the elimination of losses at Citigate Global Intelligence, which broke even.
