The firm, a biotech drug development and manufacturing service provider, is using London-based agency redhead PR to handle media relations work as it bids to boost interest among biopharma and healthcare journalists in the project – and raise Eden Biodesign’s corporate profile.
The agency has secured an 18-month contract on fees understood to be worth in the region of £100,000.
Ellesmere Port-based Eden Biodesign was appointed by the Northwest
Development Agency to run the Biomanufacturing Centre, a £30m-plus project due to open in mid-2005.
UK biotech SMEs will be able to buy services from the centre, which will develop and manufacture biopharmaceutical medicines for clinical trials. Construction began earlier this year.
