James Brown in PR appointment

Soul legend James Brown has hired the founder of youth marketing agency Espionage as his European publicist.

Adam Dewhurst is looking to strike sponsorship deals for a number of upcoming projects, including gigs, collaborations and new material.

He plans to promote Brown as a ‘living legend’ to new audiences through collaborations with various artists.

‘Brown is a singer who appeals to lots of different styles, cultures and markets,’ said Dewhurst.

‘We are interested in speaking to any brand that wants to be associated with a music pioneer,’ he added.
