The activity follows a stunt last week in London, where agency staffers lugged the bed down onto the Underground. Two models spent three hours tucked up under a branded duvet at the foot of the escalators leading to the platforms at Charing Cross station.
The promotional pair have also been parked outside hack hotbeds such as the London offices of IPC, Emap and NatMags.
'Taking a bed down to the Underground was not easy,' says Gary Wheeldon, senior consultant at Launch, which paid Tube bosses about £500 to carry out the stunt.
When asked how impressed all the hacks - and commuters - have been, and whether media coverage has been generated, Wheeldon says: 'That's a difficult one. The whole premise is that this is a visual thing.' Oh, we see.
