German PR news

Telefonica Detuschland, an internet service provider for corporate clients and subsidiary of the Spanish telecoms firm, has handed its PR to Fink & Fuchs in Munich.

Publicis PR has been appointed to handle communications for Allied Domecq whisky brands in Germany, including Ballantine's, Tullamore Dew Heritage blend and Malt Heritage Collection. The agency already manages PR for Malibu in the country.

Ines Henig, formerly PR manager at, has had her role extended to oversee external communications, following the takeover by Monster Deutschland of the company. Rene Schulze, previously communications manager at Monster, will handle internal communications in Germany, and advise branches in Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe on their external comms.

Munich agency Maisberger Whiteoaks has won PR for IT security specialists Secure Computing. Whiteoaks agencies already support the US firm in France and the UK.

Excognito has taken over publicity for Kassel's second largest hospital, the Rote Kreuz Krankenhaus Kassel Gemeinnutzige GmbH.

Software house Aventeon and Linksys has hired Text 100 Deutschland for a campaign aimed to raise awareness of the company and its products in Germany. The agency has already completed a similar commission in Bangalore, India, and further international projects are likely to follow.
