Quark in debut media campaign

Publishing software developer Quark is set to target technology press and industry verticals in its first UK media relations drive, as it introduces a range of enterprise products.

Quark last month opened a London office, appointing Gavin Drake as its first UK marketing director, and will promote its expanded range of new applications covering asset and brand management, ad booking systems and page-planning software.

‘We’re trying to provide a complete publishing platform to manage content in a publishing landscape that has changed dramatically,’ said Drake, adding that firms must consider online reporting.

Quark has also appointed Réjane Bouffaut as director of PR Europe and hired Porter Novelli as its first PR firm.
