Diary: RFU gets a PR case study of its own

Scurrilous rumours are circulating about the Rugby Football Union's internal comms strategy. We hear the RFU was recently preparing to run a seminar on the FA's Eriksson/Palios/Alam fiasco, loosely titled 'How not to manage a situation'.

Comms chief Richard Prescott assures us: 'Consideration is always given to a wide variety of potential agenda items, but these will not include the FA.'

Of course, the resignation of Sir Clive Woodward has provided the RFU with a case study of its own.
