RBS snatches Lex Column’s Graham

Royal Bank of Scotland has poached Financial Times head of The Lex Column George Graham to advise it on the RBS acquisition and growth strategy.

RBS head of group communications Carolyn McAdam said Graham would work with RBS group director of strategy Iain Allan.

Graham is set to join RBS by the end of the month after 20 years with the City daily.

He edited Lex for three years after a spell as the FT’s banking editor. His duties will be taken over by former head of the FT Tokyo bureau Gillian Tett until a permanent replacement is named.
