Verve promotes anti-MRSA cloth

Verve Public Relations has begun a PR campaign to promote a cleaning method aimed at combating the MRSA superbug.

The Jonmaster microfibre system is manufactured by Johnson Diversey, which claims that it is more effective than any other hospital cleaning product.

The Milton Keynes-based agency is targeting the hospital trade press and infection control magazines, as well as the national press, in order to promote the cloths.

The company will also be targeting decision-makers in Whitehall to encourage politicians and patient groups to back the product.

The cloth is being used in London’s Whipps Cross University Hospital. The hospital was involved in a trial of the cloth during its development.
