Nielsen quits C&W UK to travel

Lisa Nielsen, an associate director in Cohn & Wolfe UK’s healthcare division, has quit the agency after four-and-a-half years.

Nielsen, whose clients included drugs giant GlaxoSmithKline and Swiss biotech firm Actelion, has left to go travelling.

C&W healthcare joint MD Jeremy Clark said: ‘We think we’ve found someone [to replace Nielsen], but won’t be making an announcement until they join.’

Nielsen plans to spend a year travelling around New Zealand and has already left the agency.

She joined Cohn & Wolfe in March 2000 as a senior account manager, and was promoted to account director in October 2001. She was made an associate director last November.

Clark said: ‘We wish her well and look forward to seeing her when she’s back.’
