GCI nets Cohan to head up NY office

NEW YORK: GCI has named former Cohn & Wolfe deputy managing director Jennifer Cohan as its New York president.

Cohan was formerly deputy to C&W managing director Jonathan Shore in London and spent more than ten years at the WPP-owned agency before leaving earlier in the year.

She previously held roles as new business director and vice-president at C&W’s consumer practice in New York.

Shore was unavailable for comment as PRWeek went to press but is not thought to have yet found a replacement for Cohan.

At GCI, Cohan has replaced Tom Reno, who left the agency in late March to take a general manager position at fellow WPP agency Hill & Knowlton.
