Ketchum to build Honda’s UK brand

Ketchum has scooped a consumer PR account at Honda, the first time the car manufacturer has employed a PR agency on a retained basis.

The agency’s brief is to build the Honda brand within the UK and boost its appeal among younger audiences, using ‘The Power of Dreams’ slogan as an integral theme.

The agency will work with the seven-strong in-house comms team at Honda’s Swindon HQ, which will continue to liaise with motoring and specialist titles.

Ketchum handled the launch of the latest Honda Civic last year.
