Connectpoint in 1090 acquisition

Manchester agency Connectpoint has bought sports, CSR and luxury goods boutique 1090.

1090’s four staff and 12 clients have been added to Connectpoint’s 40-strong outfit, with co-founders Ryan Bowd and Mark Hayward taking associate director and account director positions at the firm respectively.

Bowd is to split his role with a teaching position at Leeds University.

Connectpoint will inherit the brief for Pepsi Cola’s Gatorade, as well as 1090’s work as North-West media team for Camelot’s national agency Paratus Communications.
