AZ calls in CHA to flag workplace

The sales and marketing arm of AstraZeneca (AZ) is using workplace comms agency CHA to promote the company internally and externally as a ‘great place to work’, it emerged this week.

CHA has launched a campaign to promote AZ’s training programmes and its staff rewards systems to the national broadsheets, plus pharma and HR titles, said AZ sales and marketing head of recruitment Andrew Armes.

The campaign is also aiming to boost the reputation of AZ among recruitment consultancies.

AZ returned to strong profit growth in Q2 with pre-tax profits up 24 per cent to £621m, as anti-cholesterol brand Crestor withstood attacks on its safety profile.
