Macromedia PR plan targets govt

Software developer Macromedia is to highlight the need for the Government to provide accessible and effective online services in a media push to launch its Macromedia Government business in the UK.

The campaign, run by Lewis PR division Octane, is to target national press and local government news pages, plus healthcare and government IT titles, positioning Macromedia as an expert on online issues of accessibility, security, compliance and the integration of information.

‘Accessibility for government organisations is going to be such a big thing this year as groups such as the Disability Rights Commission are becoming more vocal and active on web issues,’ said Macromedia comms manager EMEA Sarah Mowatt.
