B2B: British Airways World Cargo has reappointed Golin Harris to its UK PR account that includes global PR strategy following a two-way pitch. It is aiming to build management’s profile through macro-economic comment in the media.

APPOINTMENT: Former National Grid head of group internal comms Paul Massie has joined Serco as head of comms for business services. Massie was made redundant when the National Grid merged with Lattice to become National Grid Transco (NGT) in 2002.

MEDIA RELATIONS: Engineering and support services firm Atkins has signed up Camargue on a year-long contract to promote one of its eight divisions. The media relations brief includes issues management.

APPOINTMENT: Zena Martin has been appointed as MD of Hill & Knowlton-backed agency piranhaKid. She will continue in her role as MD of tech PR agency Blanc & Otus UK. Martin’s appointment follows the exit of Jason Gallucci in May (PRWeek, 14 May).

TECHNOLOGY: LG Electronics UK marketing manager Nigel Couzens has left the company. Comms general manager Andrew Mullen said a three-strong marketing team has been seconded from Korea to provide temporary cover for Couzens’s role.

CONSUMER: Spanish property developer Grupo Lar has hired Brighter PR to raise awareness about development Lar Sol Estepona among second-home buyers in the UK.

CORPORATE: RSM Robson Rhodes, a partnership of accountants and management consultants, has appointed The Communication Group to handle PR for the UK autumn launch of a management consultancy methodology and product after a four-way pitch.
