‘NfpSynergy wants to see government agencies improve the way they communicate with stakeholders.’

Geronimo is promoting the report for two weeks to the national and trade press. The agency was awarded the business after a non-competitive pitch.

Gilheany used to work for nfpSynergy co-founder Joe Saxton in his former role at the Giving Campaign, which promoted how charity donations can be made tax-free.

Saxton said: ‘Public bodies do not appear to give sufficient respect or resource to the views and attitudes of MPs.

‘Effective monitoring of their views, similar to work charities already undertake, should be implemented to ensure these agencies keep on the right track and protect their reputation.’
