Mason Pearson, who joined last year, leaves next week. His responsibilities have been assumed by former T-Mobile advertising chief Philip Mehl, hired last month to the newly created post of MD of sales and comms.
The three-strong corporate and consumer comms team, headed by PR manager Nadia Kelly, now reports to Mehl. The new structure brings Wanadoo’s UK operation into line with its other European markets.
‘We are still a young brand and there is obviously a big role for PR to play,’ said Kelly.
Freeserve, which is part of France Telecom Group, rebranded in the UK as Wanadoo in April.
